Academic Coaching

 
Academic coaches are here to support you individually and to facilitate your academic success and well-being. Whether you would like to improve your grades, make better use of your time, or learn study strategies that would work best for you, an academic coach can help. 

Types of Appointments:

  • Academic Coaching: If you know you want to talk about time management strategies, effective study strategies, prioritizing academic well-being or test taking, a general academic coaching session will cover exactly what you need.

  • Study Skills Inventory: If you are not sure where you need to improve or would like to understand more about your study strengths, schedule a Study Skills Inventory appointment. You will receive instructions on how to complete the LASSI, an online study skills assessment before your meeting with an academic coach. Your coach will then review your results during your appointment and help you to determine the best strategies for you. 

Scheduling your Academic Coaching Appointment

You can schedule a virtual or in-person, 45-minute appointment with an academic coach through the Navigate Student App, by using the chat feature on the Study Lab website or call 412-648-7920.
