Colleen O'Reilly, PhD

Dr. O'Reilly completed a Ph.D. in History of Art and Architecture at the University of Pittsburgh in 2018. She specializes in the history of photography, the history of visual knowledge, and intersections between art and science. Her current work focuses on the use of film and photography in education in Cold War America. She has taught courses on a variety of topics including the history of photography, the history of graphic design, American art, and museum studies at the University of Pittsburgh, George Mason University, and Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
