
The College of General Studies (CGS) and the College of Business Administration (CBA) offer a double degree program where you can earn both:
- BA in Health Services through CGS
- BS in Business Administration (BSBA) through CBA
This program is designed for students interested in the intersection of health care management and business administration.
Program Requirements
To complete the double degree, you must finish all requirements for both programs, including:
- BS in Business Administration: 60 credits
- BA in Health Services: 33 credits
- Additional credits: CBA Arts & Sciences requirements and CGS general education courses

Your previous coursework will be evaluated for transferability by the Student Records Office upon admission to CGS.
Timeline for Completion
- Program completion time varies: as little as 4 years, or longer depending on transfer/advanced standing credits and full- or part-time enrollment.
- Work with advisors from both majors to create a detailed course plan and ensure timely completion.
Admission
- Open to current CGS and CBA students.
- Declare the double degree by 65–75 credits to ensure proper advising and timely completion.
- Candidates must meet the admission requirements of both schools.
