Kent Kosack is a writer living in Pittsburgh, PA. He has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Pittsburgh where he teaches composition and creative writing. He also teaches creative writing at the Pittsburgh Center for Arts & Media.
For his writing, research and teaching, he has received grants and awards from the University of Pittsburgh and the Hemera Foundation.
His essay, “One Last Note for Paul Nervy,” won the 2019 Graduate Creative Nonfiction Award and his manuscript, “Chaos is Being Yourself,” was the second place finalist for the 2018 Nordan-Kinder Graduate Award in Fiction.
His stories and essays have appeared, or are forthcoming, in Tin House, the Cincinnati Review, the Sonora Review, Hobart and elsewhere. He is working on a novel and a collection of short stories.
