Aaron Kollar

Aaron Kollar joined the College of General Studies in January of 2026, bringing over 5 years of experience in higher education and a background in academic coordination. He previously worked at the University of Pittsburgh as Assessment Coordinator for the School of Medicine. Aaron oversaw the administration of all computer-based assessments, distributed score reports, and prepared and posted course and block grades. He also served as the ExamSoft Key Administrator and Executive Chief Proctor for the School of Medicine with the National Board of Medical Examiners. Prior to his time at Pitt, Aaron was a Content Editor at Franklin University, converting undergraduate courses from their previous learning management system to Canvas. Aaron earned his M.Ed in Technology for Online Instruction from Slippery Rock University while serving as Graduate Assistant Coach for the men’s basketball team. He also holds an undergraduate degree from SRU in Interdisciplinary Programs, with minors in Sport Management and Sociology. Aaron’s passion for sports has also led to assistant coaching roles at several collegiate basketball programs across Western Pennsylvania.
