The Managing Health Services Programs and Projects track focuses on developing administrative, organizational, and project management skills needed to support and lead health services programs, with an emphasis on coordination, leadership, and applied health systems work.

Degree Requirements

Students must earn a minimum of 120 credits for the Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in health services. Of this total, the major consists of 36 credits, which includes:

  • 3 credits of prerequisite coursework: Students are required to complete one approved computer competency course (CS 0004, CS 0007, CS 0008, INFSCI 0010, or PUBSRV 0040).
  • 33 credits of major coursework: These credits are earned through a combination of required core courses and courses within a selected specialization track.

This track builds administrative, leadership, and project management skills for health systems and organizations.
