Find Your Future Here

The College of General Studies offers academic programs designed with today’s marketplace and the busy adult learner in mind. Our programs are practical, flexible, and convenient, while maintaining the rigor you’d expect from a renowned research university like the University of Pittsburgh.

Our programs are designed for adults who want to continue or complete their education and earn the credentials they need to stand out in a competitive hiring market. We offer classes in a variety of formats and locations so you have choices about how, where, when, and at what pace you complete your degree.

Most of our students balance their course work with a job and family obligations. This is why we work closely with each student we admit to develop an individualized plan for success—so you can learn on your terms.
