JoAnne's education includes a master's of science in Instructional Design & Technology from Marywood University. She also has a bachelor's degree in Economics and minor in French & Art History from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.  She also obtains a Graduate Level Certificate in Leadership from AFCEA International (The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association) and a Product Management Certificate from the General Assembly.

JoAnne's work experience currently includes being an Instructional Systems Specialist for the U.S. Department of State.  She previously was the Director of Academic Technology for the College of Information and Cyberspace, National Defense University and has also been the Director of Academic Technology for La Salle University.  Her top skills include Cybersecurity Education, Instructional Technology, Distance Learning, Instructional Design.
