Quality Ready recognizes faculty who work with the CGS Instructional Design team to develop, review, and continuously improve online sections offered through CGS.

Built Through Collaboration
Quality Ready recognizes the collaborative work of faculty and the CGS Instructional Design team in developing and reviewing online sections. How Does a Course Become Quality Ready?
Quality Ready is integrated into the CGS online course development and review process.
For courses that have already completed a development cohort and final review, an additional final review is required for Quality Ready recognition. This review ensures that the course meets the current CGS Online Course Quality Standards.
For courses moving forward, Quality Ready recognition will be incorporated into the existing development and review process.
Develop
Faculty and an instructional designer work together to develop or substantially improve the online section.
Review
The course is reviewed using the CGS Online Course Quality Standards.
Approve
The course completes the review process and receives Approved status.
Recognize
The Quality Ready seal is added to the online section's course homepage.
How Long Does Recognition Last?
Quality Ready recognition is valid for two years from the date it is awarded.
Faculty are expected to maintain their courses and keep course content, resources, links, and other course elements up to date as part of their regular course maintenance.
The Quality Ready seal remains on the course homepage while the recognition is active.

Renewing Quality Ready
Quality Ready recognition does not renew automatically. Faculty who would like to continue the recognition may request a renewal review through CGS Online Learning.
The course will be reviewed using the current CGS Online Course Quality Standards. If the course continues to meet the standards, recognition will be renewed for another two years. If updates or revisions are needed, the instructional designer will work with the faculty member to determine appropriate next steps.
