CGSSG Committee Representation AY 23-24

CGSSG STANDING COMMITTEES

CGSSG members participate in the following three standing committees and work on projects and initiatives aimed at advancing the mission and purpose of CGS Student Government.

Judicial Affairs Committee

Oversees elections, advises CGSSG members about CGSSG’s constitution, oversees and supports CGSSG’s constitution amendment process.

Allocations Committee

Serves as point of contact for CGS-recognized organizations requesting funding from CGSSG; advises CGSSG about the allocation of funds, maintains a record of allocated funds; supports CGSSG with maintaining, recording, and submitting a budget.

Event Planning and Outreach Committee

Plans, creates, and submits advertising for CGSSG; plans and helps execute CGSSG events.


AD-HOC COMMITTEES

Wellness Committee

Works to plan events and other activities related to student wellness.

Media Committee

Promotes CGS SG and building a presence online.

Newsletter Committee

Restarting our newsletter tradition, works at writing and creating the monthly newsletter.


INSTITUTIONAL AND FACULTY COMMITTEES

In addition to the three standing committees and ad-hoc committees, CGSSG members serve on institutional and faculty committees, representing the voice of all CGS students.
