2020 Randall Family Big Idea Competition

The 2020 Randall Family Big Idea Competition at Pitt is here! Open to all Pitt students across all disciplines, this competition allows students to develop and pitch ideas that are relevant to solving real world problems. And the cash prizes paid directly to students total $100,000! This year in particular we encourage all students across campus to consider participating because understanding the process of innovation will help you in your careers no matter the path you choose. All you need is a team of at least two Pitt students and an idea. We’ll help you with the rest through our bootcamp, working with our mentors, and offering you practice presentation times.

Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, February 7: https://go.innovation.pitt.edu/rfbic2020.

Attend our final info session on Monday, February 3 from 3-4pm at the Big Idea Center, located in the Gardner Steel Conference Center, entrance on O’Hara (between Thackeray and University Place).

If you don’t have an idea but want to join, come to the info session to find a team that needs additional help. Hope to see you at the 2020 Randall Family Big Idea Competition!
