Your next degree may be closer than you think!
You can complete a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice from the University of Pittsburgh by taking classes exclusively on the Butler County Community College campus and online—while still enjoying the perks and benefits available to all University of Pittsburgh students.
The College of General Studies' partnership with Butler County Community College offers the benefits of earning a degree from a respected research institution and the one-on-one attention of a small academic community. Here are some of the perks:
- Working with advisors and other CGS staff via phone and e-mail
- Instruction provided by University of Pittsburgh faculty
- Courses offered in the evenings to accommodate your busy schedule
- Best of all, our partnership with Butler Community College (BC3) enables you to begin or finish a four-year degree while staying close to home.
Whether you're transferring credits from other institutions or returning to school after a break, we work closely with you to create a personalized plan for success. Students who have taken courses in the Butler County Community College Criminology program may transfer as many as sixty credits toward the administration of justice bachelor's degree, making it possible to complete the degree in as little as two additional years. For those students wishing to continue their education beyond CGS, all credits earned are equivalent to those offered at our Pittsburgh campus, and can be transferred to any other college that accepts CGS credits.
