Academic Resource Center 

The Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences Academic Resource Center (ARC) is open to College of General Studies students, and offers programs to help students develop the skills, strategies, and behaviors of confident, independent, and active learners.  ARC programs include study and learning skills workshops, personal tutoring, and supplemental instruction study groups.  Find out more. >

Math Assistance Center

The University’s Math Assistance Center also offers support for students experiencing difficulty in math or statistics courses.  The center is staffed by faculty and undergraduate teaching assistants from Pitt’s Department of Mathematics.  Find out more. >

The University of Pittsburgh Writing Center provides support for students interested in improving their writing skills.  The Writing Center is staffed by experienced consultants and peer tutors, who work with students on a one-on-one basis.  Find out more. >

University Counseling Center

The Counseling Center at the University of Pittsburgh is an invaluable resource available to students for personal or school-related needs. The Counseling Center is staffed by psychologists, counselors, social workers, consulting psychiatrists, and pre-doctoral interns.
