Erin Alpert Holmes, PhD

Dr. Erin Alpert Holmes is a part-time instructor in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures. She has been teaching online classes, including Russian Fairy Tales, Sci-Fi: East and West, and Vampire: Blood and Empire, for the department since 2012. Her research interests include Soviet and Post-Soviet culture and documentary cinema. Dr. Alpert Holmes resides in Cleveland, Ohio, where she teaches English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and serves as a new teacher mentor in the Aspire program at Cuyahoga Community College.
