Commemorate Veteran’s Day with the University of Pittsburgh Office of Veterans Services (housed in the College of General Studies). During Roll Call, students at more than 30 schools across the country will participate in simultaneous recognition of our service members.
The event will honor all Pennsylvania soldiers who have died while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan as their names are read and remembered, and a moment of silence will be observed at 2 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to send personal thank you notes to service members overseas.
