About the Workshop:

Salary negotiation is an integral part of any job search and understanding the techniques and reasoning behind it will make you successful in your job search and career beyond Pitt. In this workshop, you will learn why salary negotiation is important, how to conduct market research and determine a target salary, as well as learn negotiation strategies both before, during and after the job search.

About the Presenter:

Emily Bennett works in the Office of Career Development and Placement Assistance at the University of Pittsburgh, primarily serving the STEM population as a Career Consultant. She is a Certified Professional Resume Writer, Salary Negotiation Facilitator and MBTI Practitioner. She has held previous roles in recruitment, HR, program administration and runs her own career consulting business.
