Math Tutoring and Assistance

The College of General Studies offers math tutoring within the McCarl Center.  Whether you are struggling in a math-related course, need help with an upcoming exam or project, or just want to brush up on basic math skills, we can help.  Tutoring is held during specific walk-in hours or by appointment.

Online tutoring is also available, using the CGS Math Support Tutor organization through the University of Pittsburgh’s CourseWeb. You must be added to the site prior to the chat to have access to these online sessions. Workshops:

College Algebra I (MATH 0010) Review Session – Tuesday, November 14th 2017

This workshop will take place from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM in The McCarl Center Tutoring Room (1424 W.Posvar Hall).  This session will help students to prepare for the next MATH 0010 exam.

Algebra Exam Review Session – Thursday, November 9th 2017

 This workshop will take place from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM in The McCarl Center Tutoring Room (1424 W.Posvar Hall).  This session will cover practice problems for Donna Rosenberger’s next exam.
