BC3 to CGS Transfer Students
Welcome students, transfer couselors, and faculty advisors to the College of General Studies (CGS) transfer site for the Butler County Community College(BC3). The site was developed to provide transfer students easy access to all the programs and services needed to make a successful transition to the University of Pittsburgh.
New Program - Earn a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Butler County Community College.
You can earn a bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice on BC3's campus. Course offerings are open to both BC3 students as well as the general public. BC3 students completing an associate's degree in Criminology, Computer Forensics, or Emergency Services Police Services Option will be able to transfer up to 60 credits towards the bachelor's degree. Credits from other associate degree programs and other colleges will be evaluated for transferability. Courses will be offered primarily in the evenings, and up to fifteen credits will be offered each fall and spring semester, allowing students to attend full-time and earn their degree in as few as four semesters.
