Apply for Degree Program
Do you want to earn an undergraduate degree in the College of General Studies (CGS)? Contact the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid to apply online, request more information, and/or arrange a personal appointment with an admissions counselor.
Transfer Students
Are you transferring credits from another institution? Our transfer student page will guide you through the process.

We're Here For You — The Adult Learner
The support and guidance you need to reach your educational goals is right here. We understand that our students, by nature of being "nontraditional" or "adult learners" have unique needs. You'll find staff, administrators and counselors who will guide you, advise you and facilitate your experience at the University of Pittsburgh. And you'll find many other students with work, family and external obligations similar to yours.

Student Advising
You will have access to academic advisors during the day and in the evening, in person, over the phone, or via e-mail.
Financial Aid
The University of Pittsburgh Office of Admissions and Financial Aid (OAFA) reviews all university students' applications for financial aid. Click here for links to the OAFA website and other resources for you to search for financial aid. Also included are scholarships specifically for adult students.
Career Services
Our career counselor can assist you with all aspects of planning and managing your career. Read articles and access Web sites particularly geared toward adult students.
Registration
The University of Pittsburgh does not permit direct online registration for credit courses. However, you can access registration forms and information here, as well as details about tuition and fees.
