Application Procedures

Step 1: Completing the application
Be sure to answer all the questions. This application is only for students who intend to enroll as a non-degree student in the College of General Studies. You may apply online, by mail, by fax, or in person.

Step 2: Submit a $45 application fee
You may pay this by submitting credit card information online, or mailing a check or money order made payable to the University of Pittsburgh to the address listed in Step 3.

Step 3: Additional Requirements for selected categories of admission

"¢ Guest/visiting students: If you are a registered student at another college or university and intend to transfer credits earned at Pitt back to your home institution, you must submit a Home Authorization Form. (LINK?)
 College transcript(s). For the certificate program in accounting only , which requires completion of a bachelor's degree for admission consideration, please arrange to have transcripts of all college-level work mailed or faxed directly from your school to:

Application Deadline/Notification Timeline
Applications are accepted until the first day of classes. Applicants will be notified of an admission decision after all materials and the application fee have been received.
