In order to provide efficient service to College of General Studies students, we are offering answers to your general advising questions via a central email address. Instead of emailing your advisor directly, please utilize the form below and enter your advising question(s) in the text box.
Once submitted, you will receive an automated message via email letting you know that your message was received. Then you will receive an answer to your question via email within 1-2 business days.
eAdvisor@cgs.pitt.edu can be utilized to answer general advising questions regarding issues such as, but not limited to:
1) Whether a course fulfills a specific requirement needed
2) Obtain an updated Distribution of Studies
3) Transfer credits
4) College of General Studies' General Education requirements
5) Filing Course Repeats
6) Filing a Major or Minor program change
