Majors

Complete an undergraduate degree or prepare for graduate school with programs of study designed specifically for adult students.

We offer eleven majors that combine basic skills with specific areas of study in order to best prepare graduates for the workforce.

Pitt Transfer Options

Prerequisite courses for several graduate and undergraduate University programs can be taken through CGS.

Minors

Three departmental minors are available in programs offered by the CGS and fifteen minors are available through departments in the School of Arts and Sciences.

Students with an Undergraduate Degree

If you already have a bachelor's degree, you can take undergraduate courses to prepare for graduate school or to earn a second undergraduate degree. Some students wish to take a credit course without enrolling in a degree or certificate program. This is also possible.
