About the College of General Studies
The University of Pittsburgh's College of General Studies is your source for higher education opportunities geared toward adult and working students. We have coordinated all of the services of the University into a single resource fo nontraditional students to provide you with one-stop for your education needs. We also offer opportunities for you to earn University credits or for you to learn in a noncredit environment.

Take courses one day or evening per week, on Saturdays, at one of our off campus locations. Or study with our PittOnline program, Web-based courses that give you the opportunity to study from home with minimal campus visits. - Traditional undergraduate courses
