Membership
Members of the Osher Lifelong Institute (OLLI) enjoy the intellectual stimulation of a learning community of adults as well as opportunities for interaction with younger college students. Though the subjects are challenging, the environment is supportive and low-pressure. There are no tests or grades.
Membership Benefits
As a member of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Pitt you may make use of the following benefits:
- Take one or all of the short courses offered each term. Click here

- Audit two undergraduate courses per term for no additional charge. Additional courses may be audited in the same term for a fee of $25 each. Click here

- Receive a University computer account for access to e-mail, Pitt's personal computers, and the Internet; course-specific programs from departments such as humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences; and the use of the University library system's online card catalog, PittCat. The Computing Services and System Development help desk is available to assist OLLI members.
- Receive an Osher Photo Identification Card giving you access to
- campus buses and shuttles
- student discounts to various cultural organizations in the city
- the University's 11 libraries, including borrowing privileges from Hillman library
- Attend lectures, tours and other learning and social opportunities throughout the term. Most are free of charge; some may have a nominal fee.
- Access an online community exclusive to OLLI members at my.pitt.edu for program announcements, calendars, discussion boards, and resource links.
Osher Membership Fees
Full membership entitles you to all of the benefits listed above.

Couples Discount: Take 10% off the full Term or Annual Membership fee when you register with another person. To qualify, send your registration forms together and pay with one check or credit card account. This cannot be combined with any other discounts.
Pitt Alumni Association Member Savings: Member's of Pitt's Alumni Association receive a 10% discount off the full member fee. Visit the Alumni Association, www.alumni.pitt.edu , Web site for details. This cannot be combined with any other discounts.
Associate Membership
This option is provided for those who wish ONLY the auditing course benefit of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Associate members are not eligible for other Osher courses or University benefits.
