Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
Overview
Experience the joy of learning with noncredit courses designed for individuals who are retired or semi-retired, age 55 or over. Established by a grant from the Bernard Osher Foundation, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) creates a true intellectual community of adult learning at the University of Pittsburgh.
Members of the OLLI may choose from an array of noncredit courses taught by distinguished Pitt emeriti faculty and scholars, audit an undergraduate course, and participate in many special programs. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute can enrich your life through an exploration of the liberal arts: humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences.

Membership
Become a member of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and enjoy a rich array of programs and experiences. Full membership entitles you to many University services. Associate membership is available for those wishing solely to audit courses.
Auditing Courses
Attend regular undergraduate courses along with young college students. "Audit" means you earn no credit and generally do not participate in homework and exams. This enjoyable, low-pressure environment provides the added benefit of multi-generational interaction.
Learning Partners
Our partnerships with other organizations both within and outside of the University of Pittsburgh give you additional social and educational opportunities. Many have agreed to offer discounts to our members to encourage your participation.
