Academic Proficiency Testing (CAAP)

Each academic year, the College of General Studies offers the Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency (CAAP) test to measure and evaluate academic achievement in our general education program. CAAP has been developed by ACT and is a standardized and nationally normed assessment program for postsecondary institutions.

2017-2018 Academic Year: Critical Thinking

This year, students enrolled in a major offered by the College of General Studies are invited to test their skills in clarifying, analyzing, evaluating, and extending arguments. This is the last time we will be offering this volunteer opportunity. Don't miss your chance to participate and receive:

  • a 30$ WePay Visa debit card
  • a chance to enhance their resume or portfolio through an external evaluation of skills they have developed as a CGS student
  • a certificate of achievement to help participants stand out in a competative job market
Only CGS majors are eligible to particpate.  Seating is limited.
